Steph's Ride:Well Adventure

So far its been an amazing experience! I am so thankful to be here with all my lovely teammates as we embark on this adventure for the Lord and our friends in Africa. My prayer is to be selfless, stripped of my pride and humble myself before Christ and my teammates. My Prayer is to learn from each other, grow and preserve through the hard times. I am so grateful for this experience and I am nervous for what is to come but I know its possible and God can do great things in us if we let him! GLORY BE TO GOD!

So i didn’t update while I was gone on my trip… I deeply apologize for that.

I decided that I should probably update more often. So I cant promise anything but lets say maybe twice a week i will put a journal entry from the tour and a picture up for you guys to see and gain a better picture of what the tour was like for me.

This picture is outside of Starbucks.. FYI my teammates LOVED Starbucks! Anytime we saw one we HAD to stop… any coffee shop for that matter. Needless to say the west coast tour was perfect for them because there are coffee shops everywhere.. even drive thru ones! So this is me and my teammate Dan waiting for the rest of our team while they order drinks and grab snacks from the van!

If we think we are going to grow in faith by sitting around at a Bible study, we are wrong. That stuff is fine, but without a story, without diving into something really difficult, something that requires us to look to God for support and wisdom and comfort, it will be more difficult to become a person of great faith. - Donald Miller
